responsibilities and duties
Should be a self-starter and interested in leading a future team. Direct client communication and occasional travel are all required. The successful candidate will possess the future potential for personnel and or project management, and the ability to manage a business segment leading to future ownership participation.
qualifications and skills
Candidates must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a 4 year accredited college or university. Professional Registration with the ability to obtain additional registrations through comity is required.
Qualified Mechanical Engineers must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and should have excellent knowledge of the engineering and design of a variety of commercial building HVAC systems. The successful candidate should also possess experience in plumbing systems for commercial buildings including water and gas piping, as well as sanitary and storm drainage piping. Experience should include projects ranging from small to large scale.
Experience in the design of fire protection systems, including fire sprinkler and suppression utilizing hydraulic calculation programs and knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, is a plus. Should be proficient in the use of AutoCAD. Revit is a plus.
