Prototype Development of multiple configurations consisting of a 12K, 13K, 18K, 20K and 24K facilities.  Prototypes are created with alternate components for a PetHotel and Banfield Pet Hospital.​ CASCO also assists in the roll-out of site adaptation projects on a nationwide basis.  Delivery models include Developer turn-key projects and Corporate self-developed projects.

CASCO recently completed an Urgent Care Prototype.  The first facility developed for Midland Contractors, Inc., involved the takeover of existing strip center space and opened during November 2014 in Waukegan, IL.  The prototype is easily modified to meet square footage and service needs of the Physicians.

CASCO provided Prototype Criteria Development and Maintenance design services for Bridgestone Firestone.   In our role as Prototype Manager we developed 31 ground-up prototype footprint configurations for four (4) separate brands.  Square footage's vary from 8,500 s.f. to 10,000 s.f. Since beginning the program in 2008, CASCO has completed Site Investigation Reports for over 680 sites; as well as Site Planning, Architectural, Structural, MEP Construction Documents and Peer Reviews for projects that are approved during the real estate evaluation.

Since 2002 CASCO has designed over 75 fast food restaurants for both the Jimmy Johns corporate offices and their franchisees. The majority of the projects are takeovers of existing spaces located in urban and suburban areas throughout the United States. CASCO’s scope of work includes the layout of restaurant and drive-through areas in compliance with Jimmy John’s corporate criteria. 3D-BIM software was utilized to develop a new ground-up prototype to assist the Franchisees in visualization of the new brand decor.   Prototype and Site Specific Construction Documents are prepared utilizing Building Information Modeling software.

In 1981 CASCO expanded from our industrial roots to the retail industry.  Toys "R" Us was our first retail client.  We continue to support them today in their TRU & BRU Side by Side program.Over the last 30 years CASCO's Architect and Engineers have provided Prototype Development and Maintenance for the Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us brands. Our Architectural and Engineering staff have employed a "Kit of Parts" methodology utilizing Revit BIM software.  Special studies and services include Revit capability studies and creation of a virtual StoreLab. 

After a year of vigorous evaluation, CASCO was selected from over 200 firms to be the Prototype Manager for Fifth-Third Bank's roll-out program. 

The following scope of work is involved in the Prototype Manager and Site Criteria Manager roles:  Develop a standard AOR operational protocol; develop and maintain a system of prototype element components utilizing BIM technology; evaluate site specific requirements to assemble a package of applicable prototype elements for the site AOR.

CASCO was a key member of Home Depot's design and development team; completing over 2,000 projects since 1990.At the height of their expansion CASCO developed and maintained regional Prototypes for the South, Southeast, Mid-south, Western Great Lakes, Eastern Great Lakes, Northeast, Southwest and Western regional offices.    Later, as control of the standards was centralized at Atlanta corporate offices, CASCO streamlined the process into one (1) national prototype applicable to all regions.
