Lunch & Learn - Versetta Stone

CASCO's lunch & learn attendees watched a presentation of Boral Versetta Stone, given by Scott Burket from Boral TruExterior Trim & Siding. We learned that Versetta stones are cement mixed with color to make it look like natural stone, giving you a wide variety of choices. They are tight fitting so no mortar is required between the stones. Their panel design installed with mechanical fasteners, allows carpenters and contractors to provide the look of authentic stone masonry without the usual time, money, and mess.

Benefits to the builder can be significant. The Versetta Stone is less expensive and lighter weight than traditional stone, making it much easier with which to work. They come in panel sections so they can easily be installed with nails or screws. The flexibility of being able to install the panels where you want, including a corner panel for inside and outside corners, speeds up the process and therefore increases productivity. Contractors and customers will love that!

Because there is no mortar involved, the stone veneer panels can be installed any time of the year. They are extremely durable and can withstand harsh weather - hot or cold. And no mess!
